Pontiac Grand Am... Please Help!!!?

I own a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am SE (2.4L? small engine, nothing fancy; car has power locks but standard windows, barely any options)

So, I need to temporarily remove my back seat... not the bottom portion, just the upper part(cushion) that a persons back would rest on.

I tried to look through the trunk but there are no latches or straps for my car that would allow the seat to fold down. Its one solid cushion, meaning there's no split. I can see the back of the seat through the trunk, so there's no steel wall or anything like that in between the trunk & the back seat.

I just want to remove that seat back/cushion, haul a few things, and put it back in....

Could someone please give some directions/instructions on how to do this; it seems like an easy task but I don't want to mess something up

Close to the back window by your speakers there should be some metal things. they will be in little indent areas. Pull up on those and your seat should pop down, However it dont think it will completely remove but it should lay down flat.

Often seat backs are held in by clips. Try kneeling on the back seat then take hold of the back's bottom, and pull / yank up.
