i have a 97 pontiac grand am 2dr and what would make the the windows go up crooked when they go up (power windows) and what would it take to fix it

wouldnt be 200 bucks you remove door panel and look to see what is broken og to dealer buy th epart that it need an dfix it your self not hard ive done it more than once type into search box

there are 2 clips on the inside of the door attached to the window, im guessing either 1 or both of them broke. When you roll it up does it almost sound like glass crunching? My 01 grand ams front windows BOTH did it. I took it in to see how much it would be to just fix the driver side (jacks glass) and they said since they can't just replace the clips they had to replace the whole window b/c the clips come attached it would be 200 bucks a window...card board jammed into the window worked just fine till i sold it.
