• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Pontiac Inquiry about static and stalling

I have a 92 Pontiac Bonneville and everytime I step on the brakes the lights dim and the radio statics. The car sometimes stalls and acts like it wants to cut off if I hold my foot on the breaks. The altenator is 30 days old and is a good one, I know that because my car wouldn't start until I got the altenator put on. By the fuse box it sounds like something is ticking or causing static.

Did this problem start after you changed the alternator?
