...gt ot gxp? Pontiac is getting cut by GM so are the cars going to get a price cut and is right now a good time to but a Pontiac g8. would Pontiac getting cut get me a better deal. If so how much less would it be and are dealers trying to get rid of Pontiac's and negotiating better and to lower prices.

Pontiac is gone...its not "going out of business" . the brand has been dissolved.

So you might want to head over to the dealer that is still open and see what info they can get for you.

If you still want to support them, I would recommend rushing to the dealers and buy one A.S.A.P. The more business they get, who knows, it may impact their decision, though I highly doubt it cause the announcement is official. As for the resale value, I am not sure. It may go down drastically since the brand no longer exist after 2010.
