If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Cherishing my 1973 Pontiac Ventura has a real meaning for me. It has helped me and my father bond together, says Brian Wallace from Texas.

This is may 1973 Pontiac Ventura. I like to call her Elvira. It still has the original Pontiac 350 engine.

I love this car. It's special for me because of my respect to my father. My dad's first car was a 4-door Ventura.

This car brings good memories of my father's face. When I took my dad for a ride in it he was smiling from ear to ear and told me how he used to put bleach on the ground under the tire and on the tire of his Ventura to make the tires smoke more because he only had the v6 in his, but how he used to cruise the ole cruising spots in it in Dallas TX. This car has helped us to bond over our love of classic cars.

Besides, this Pontiac is unique because it is a rare car and I have the only one in my county.

I purchased this 1973 Ventura a couple of years ago. The body was in fairly good condition. Yet, I still had to do some modifications. I have put an Edlebrock performer intake, 650 Holly carb, ditched the old points ignition system and upgraded it to an MSD ignition system. Having done this, I also replaced the Cadillac seats with bucket seats, dual exhaust dumped before the rear end, Hurst pro-matic 2 shifter, put a shift kit in the turbo 350 trans, American racing rims, front disc brake conversion and moon eye gauges and tach.

My name is Brian Wallace and I am from Granbury, TX. I am the mechanic/manager of the local Kwik Kar Lube and Tune and thus naturally love the appeal of an old car.

Some of my favorite things associated with my car is how older people smile and tell me stories about their old car when they see mine and how my dog Pugsley loves to go for rides in it.
