Pontiac Torrent 2006 - fuel pump?

Hi Guys

I'm Polish and I have a problem with my car. I smoke all the time from the fuel pump fuse. I do not know how to take it. Do I need to pull the fuel tank?

Bet that the fuel pump is broken.

But maybe something else?

how can smoke come from a fuse? if the pump is broken the car doesnt run.
 
the car just does not work, because the fuel pump fuse break every time
 
disconnect fuel pump then install new fuse and turn car on if the new fuse opens(smokes) then you have bad wiring if not then it was a bad fuel pump. After that go have a kielbasi sandwich and a beer lol

how to disconnect the pump without removing the fuel from the fuel tank?
 
if your car is like most modern gm's there is a service hatch above the tank to access the fuel pump it could be in the trunk or under the back seat. See link below for a description/video of what I am talking about, the video shows how to change the fuel sender wiper, pay no attention to that just watch and see how to disconnect the fuel pump.

Today dismantled the fuel tank and pulled the fuel pump
Unfortunately, the motor burned out fuel pump. :(

Please write me where you can buy the same motor and not the entire fuel pump?

I need only same motor . Pontiac torrent 2006 3.4

You have to buy the whole pump, nobody sells the motor by itself. Try junkyard if you want motor only.

Hi again!

Turned out that the motor is burned in a fuel pump.
I mentioned the same motor and everything is ok.

Motor burned out because I had very little fuel, and tried to ride.

I have installed LPG installation in the car. I use only gasoline car firing. As the engine reaches 40 * C, it switches automatically to LPG.

How do I run out of gas it switches over to gasoline, which was not enough and the engine is blurred.

In Polen gasoline costed 1 liter / 1,83 $
LPG gas costed 1 liter / 0,9$

Car gas burns 20% more than gasoline. But by losing power about 10%.

Installation LPC costed 1000$. In my case turned after 2 months

motor fuel pump cost 20$. Luckily my suit from Opel Vectra 2004 :)
