pontiac torrent and a 16 yr old?

what do you think of the 08 Pontiac torrent for a teenager thanks in advance
oh ps gas isnt a prob my parents want to pay for it and i gotta get an suv because we have a lot of deer aroud here

well, i tend to think only spoiled kids get brand new cars, get an older one that if you wreck wont really matter cause it was probably a piece of shit to begin with
 
i think a teenager should get a hand me down car...try a 1997 civic..any old civic is a great starter car.

With the gas prices rising up and down.... ehhh SUV is not a good idea. Oh and not to mention the fear of tipping over an SUV..

I'm not sayin to scare you or anything... I'm just being honest because I'm 20 and when I was 16 I drove a old crappy car and I'm glad cuz I totaled it. Now I finally have a decent car and say that I am definitely a better driver then when I was 16 years old.

So my suggestion would be probably a coupe or a sedan for a 16 year old.

SUV is a big big big responsibility!

its an ok car. I guess if its your first car you have to take whatever they give you. But most people just get old cars so just be happy you got a new one.
 
yeah get an suv. i had an aveo and totalled it racing. if i had an equinox or a pickup to start with i probalbly wouldnt race because of fear of rolling it. dont get me wrong the aveo was great but i go to an automotive school so racing was the thing. so go for it its not like your getting a brand new camaro or any thing

in my opinion get a olds cutlass i jumped one 30 feet 3 times and drove the thing home suv and trucks are good to have to but that olds hit a steel pole landing the third time and it only broke the headlight cover
