I had one of these with a 400 in it. Great car!!
The serial number has a letter code that will state the engine size. I think it is the 5th digit.
Any GM dealer will be able do "decode" this and tell you what engine was originally in your car.

I would love to help Meeka, but I know diddly about cars most of all engines. All I know is for a car like this one the engine makes a lovely roar......
