Possible battery issue

Actually, I have NGK spark plugs in my van and they are only a year old. Had an NGK ignition wire set installed within the past month. They were checked and no issues reported.

Was the first time I have heard the word coil in the description of those related items. Remembered in the Chrysler I used to have, the other end of the ignition wire set is connected to a distributor cap. Is the coil pack similar to a distributor cap? If it is, I might not have replaced that specific item.

One of the earlier engine codes that was inspected at an auto shop within the past couple months did indicate a misfire at that time, but it was thought that it could be a false alarm at the time due to the original battery issues messing with the sensors.

I do have a Haynes manual mainly to help pinpoint the possible issues as I do not have a garage and it's a pain to get at many of the things under the hood.

coil pack : it's purpose is to amplify the spark and usually when they go bad they open up ,it kind of acts like a transformer as you can meter out the coils and check for resistance.also check to be sure it is seated tightly/firmly and no moisture/corrosion is present.
It would be easier to know if you were chasing a fuel or spark problem , this is kind of guess work. cars you either hate them or love them kind of like women

It definitely likely to stall when I idle as it never happens when I give it a little gas for sure.

Reading up and found that the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) may be a likely culprit, whether it's clogged or defective. I'll have to have that checked and for vacuum leaks.
