Power Handling of 4spd Manual Transmissions?

I just bought a 1985 Fiero GT and it has a Muncie 4spd attached to a 3800 Series 1 motor N/A (170hp, 215?ft. lbs of torque). I was wondering how much power that transmission is capable of handling? Would it still handle that motor with a supercharger and other upgrades on it (250-300hp)? Thanks

Yes, I am using the 4-spd with a 355hp/405 ft/lbs of torque Chevy V-8.
Been running it since 2004 without any problems.

Generally the 4-spd muncie used with the V-6 as well as the 5-spd getrag are both good until about 400hp. Anything higher and you will need to do some work to the transaxle.
