Power Seat in 2007 Torrent Doesn't move or make a noise

I have a 2007 Torrent and when I try to use the driver side power seat it wont move. It wont go up down back or forward or even make a noise. I tested the the circuit breaker under the glove box (labeled power seat in the manual) with an ohm meter and it makes a connection. Does anyone have any ideas to fix it or experience the same problem?

I think that window motors "fail" in a similar way. With window motors, I have learned to hold the window button down with one finger/hand while giving the door a solid whack with the heel of my other fist and this jars the motor enough to get the motor working again. I am not sure how to give the seat motor a sound whack like this.
