Montana? When I push the button to open the door, I can hear the motor, but the door doesn't open. I can open it manually, and then power works to close the door. What is keeping it from opening?

I would check the hinges for proper lube and make sure that the door does not have any obstructions ..also check the pad on the door jamb make sure it is clean (the contacts) on both the door and the jamb use a small piece of scotchbrite pad to clean the contacts without them it won't get power to either open or close the door ..
