power steering pump

hey guys, anybody know if a power steering pump from a 97 will fit a 98? i honestly know nothing about sunfires, im just fixing one for a friend. So does it matter if the motors are different sizes or what?

what do you mean by different sizes 2.2 versus 2.4, they do NOT use the same pump

yeah different sizes. They do or do NOT use the same pump? i couldnt understand what you just wrote in your last post sorry..

they do not use the same pump, you can look this information up at www.napaonline.com and see the different motors come up with different part numbers for the pump.
