My 1998 Firebird power steering whines constantly when the car is running. It gets quieter when the car warms up, and is noisest when turning. I have changed the fluid because it sat for a long time and it got a little better but did not go away. How hard is it to change the pump. Should I change the hoses at the same time. Do I have to drain all the fluid from the rack and pinion also.
