Power window issues

2005 Aztek.
With driver's door closed, drivers window motor only buzzes does not lower window. All other windows do not function.
Open driver's door, all windows work, but a bit slower than usual.
Any Ideas?

Yes. Check for bad wiring in the door jamb area, they are stressed a lot by the door opening and closing.

Way easier for me to say that then the fix, if it is indeed a wire problem there.

Any suggestions as to which wire may break first.

If you open the rubber/plastic tube connectiing the door to the frame it would be pretty obvious which wire is broken.

Just wanted to check first. There are some "short" wires in the Aztek that always go first. Like in the console!
