Power window

Left side power window not working. Replaced center console switch and it worked for a couple of weeks. Now when it was put down it would not go up unless you turn off ignition and wait a minute then it goes up about 6 inches. You have to keep doing this to get it to close. Thinking either motor or wiring thru door. Anyone have wiring diagram for power windows? Thanks

try joining autozone for a wiring diagram. check the connections inside the door to the motor and the wires going from the body to the door inside the conduit.

Changing motor

I have decided to change out motor because I can't find anything else wrong. Does anyone know if you take out motor and regulator if new motor has to be put into regulator the exact position as old motor? What I am trying to say is how does motor know when it has window all the way up or down? Does motor have pressure switch built into it? Thanks.

Replaced motor, all is well. Time consuming job replacing motor.
