Pontiac GP GT 2001. PS fluid leaked during past winter and steering can't be turned at all. Did not drive during winter. 178000 km mileage. Is it worth fixing? What will be the cost?

Worth fixing? Depends on your opinion of the condition of your car. If the engine is in good running condition, the body and interior decent and you'd like to keep and drive it, then it's probably worth fixing. That's a decision only you can make.

The cost depends on what must be replaced. Where is the leak coming from? Is the pump still good? Etc.

Probably worn out rubber... cold is going to shrink it and it's probably pretty brittle at any rate. Are you going to fix it yourself, because it sounds like you want to take it to someone "Is it worth fixing?". You posted the milage and I would still consider that a "new" car lol considering how fast people gain miles.

I just had the power steering lines on my car replaced. The complete high pressure line was changed and the return lines was patched. it cost me $260 in total, yours will be different as I have a 93 grand prix, but it may give you a general idea depending on whats leaking.
