Purchasing an 88GT

I have the opportunity to purchase an original owner 88 GT. It has a new paint job (original color) 100k miles and seems to be in great condition. Other than cosmetically, could anyone tell me mechanically any warning signs or what to look for? What are the most expensive repairs with Fieros? I have never owned a Fiero and don't really know what to be looking for. Thanks.

You need the car to be checked by a mechanic including putting it on a lift and checking the frame and suspension for rust.

Let me add to that when they put it on a lift make sure they know where to put the lift at if not you will bend a cooling tube!
