Putting a Chevy 350 in a 1986 Pontiac Firebird?

I've got a 1986 Pontiac Firebird 2.8L V6 and I wanna put a Chevy 350 in it... Will it fit?

With a little work, and another transmission it can be done.

it should fit pretty easily i have an 87 trans with a tpi 350 and room to play so you should have no troubles

i have an 86 trans am as well and the guy i bought it off did put the 350 in it so yea it can be done

i have an 83 trans am. i put a 350 in it. has 400+ hp. i kept the 700r4 because i like the OD, but not sure if it is enough for my 350.

so, it can be done, but honestly, these cars are a b%$^& to work on. but, they sure are attractive!
