question about 99-05 Pontiac grand am engine swap?

i was thinking about what a cool sleeper this car would be and looking at engine swaps and i wanted to know why i cant find anything on it. how come no one has put a VQ35DE in one yet? why isn't there info on Pontiac grand am engine swaps.. if i cant do an engine swap how much do turbos run and where could i get one for the stock engine? thanks for helping

Engine swaps in front wheel drive cars are much harder then in rear drivers. The engine bolts to the side of the trans axle, and everything must fit perfectly. So, guess that's why you don't see any swaps - There's no other engine that will fit. On the turbo: They are expensive, like 3 grand plus for the parts, & then all the piping will have to be made custom, so you could probably double that cost.
