I figured out a way to replace my stock radio with another stock radio from the salvage yard. Mine was going dark and the volume was acting up. I took my original radio apart and the new one apart and switched out the computer boards inside .

No problem . I also forgot to mention that this only works if the board is not bad, and since my original radio was programmed for my van I didn't have to take it and get it unlocked again. Also the permanent way that the videos on you tube that shows how to unlock radios will not be necessary which causes the radio not to hold memory or having the calibrate message..
