Doug the only Firebirds I am aware of being built in Canada were some 3rd gen, and all 4th Gen.

Its true that some 2nd gen Firebirds were built with SBC's starting in the late 1970's, mostly for the California Market. But I would not want one. This car falls into that category for me. Yes it is probably numbers matching. I just don't care fr it. If I wanted a SBC powered 2nd gen F-Body, I would but a Camaro. Just my opinion, others may vary.
