...morning? I have a Pontiac Montana Van - recently the brakes started to act up in the rear. If it sits overnight, the next morning the rear brakes are really sensitive and it seems like I don't have any brakes on the front (new pads and rotors less than 2000km). I was going to inspect the rear, but remembered having the same problem with a Grand Am. Once I drive it a bit, you wouldn't know anything was wrong. Thoughts?

it is possible that overnight some rust forms on your breaks and that will cause the grabbyness and then the rust gets worn off and they are fine

That is a common problem with some GM cars and light trucks the brakes form moisture on the drums and cause the "grabbing" you mention if it clears after a couple stops and returns to normal I would consider it a normal condition..
