Hey guys got a question about bumpers. So I have been breaking down my rusty 65 Lemans and got to the rear bumper. When I doubled checked the parts I have to the parts I should have looks like I am missing a part. This part is the center brace that goes between bumper and the frame.
So I looked for the missing part on a few sites and in some parts catalogs and I am now a bit confused about this part. Most sites only have the side braces for sale with or without the splash guards. No one that I have seen even shows that there is a center brace for the bumper. The only place I did see a note of the center brace was in the catalog for AMES on page 158 where they state that the 4 pc kit- L175BB does not include the center brace. On that same page though is a picture of a 3 pc kit for a 66 Lemans which has what looks to be the center brace I am looking for. I did make a call to them to ask if they knew if it would work, I was told that since it is not part of the kit for the 65 it probably does not fit.
I was hoping someone here could help me out with this by either helping me located the center brace for the 65 or if the 66 center piece will work.
