My vibration is gone after I removed driveshaft. Was told to check rear diff mounting bushings but I think that is kind of a generic suggestion. Anything that can move/wiggle is culprit. Person at other website has 2015 Cherokee with bad diff. He also removed driveshaft. Both rear diffs are similar design. As in weak. Are they replaced vs rebuilt? I know a new diff is $$$.

Other guy was told his diff is bad. And is looking at used diff as a cost saving as quote for new diff was $2k? But his Cherokee is 2015. So new diffs are available. He did not say what is bad. Ring gear? Bearings? Clutch pack assy? I’m sure the design could be similar. my Issue is vibration from driveshaft? As my vibration is gone now.

Pinion bearing/ race may be bad , I would look there first...
