Hey again, I had horrible tire noise and vibration with my new baby. So I got brand new tires. Took it out for a rip expecting it to ride like a Bentley and to my surprise it still has a horrible tire noise in the rear of the car !! Kind of a loud whining with a bit of roaring mixed in. The faster you go the louder it gets. Put it in neutral at speed and the noise is unchanged. Left and right turns changes the pitch ever so slightly but noise still there. So, what can this be. No clunking, skipping or grinding. Sounds just like crappy tire noise. Thanx for the info.

has anybody checked the fluid level in the differential?
could also be a wheel bearing.

Didn’t check it yet, but will do. It has no leakage anywhere, so hopefully it’s full. If it is wheel bearings, any suggestions on better aftermarket bearings, or just go with stock?

And by the way, thanx for all your reply’s. 👍👍

Nothing wrong with stock unless you are actively racing the car.

I just thought that aftermarket would be stronger and last longer. I know some people do some type of Timkin bearing/seal conversion?? Have you heard of this?

They also have a 2 piece drive shaft, I cant remember if there is a carrier bearing or not, I know back in the early 2000's many people were having issues with the driveshaft on T/A's & Forrmula's. Just something else to consider if the fluid level is OK.

Ok, thanx. I didn't even think of this. Will check it out. Cheers.
