Reattach rear view mirror

The rear view mirror in my 2004 Aztek fell off. I know how to glue the button back, but there is a part I can't figure out. There is a separate wiring cover that came down, still attached to the wires; I can't figure out how it needs to be positioned before regluing the mirror button. No pictures in my manual. Can someone post a picture of your in situ mirror, please? Thanks!
