Rebuilding a LT1 350 (firebird formula)?

I was trying to look into rebuilding the engine. The 94 formula is a great car, and i want it to last. Google wasn't finding me much help. I'm loosing compression and starting to burn oil. I was wondering what a ballpark estimate would be for a complete rebuild.

First go price a whole engine rebuild kit at Auto Zone or Advance Auto. Then multiply that by about 4 to get an aproximate estimate on the labor. Then that will be in the ballpark for the labor cost . Remember though you will still have to buy the parts !!!
