Remote start???

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the 2008 GXP torrent comes with a remote start as standard equipment. I have the remote buttom on my keys but it doesn't work??? thanks guys
 
contact any GM dealer with your VIN and they can tell you what your vehicle came equipped with
 
Also check that you are doing the start procedure correctly. You must first press the lock button on the remote followed by holding the start button for about two seconds. The parking lights will flash meaning it has accepted the signal to start.

Bingo, it works. But now I feel like an idiot, all those freezing cold winter mornings and I didn't know I had this option. Thanks
