Hey. I have never removed a engine before, so I am new to all this. I have been trying to remove the 2.4 from the car. I wanted to remove engine without removing transmision. I have removed every bolt that I can see that connects the engine to the bellhousing. I have removed the 3 bolts that are on the torque converter. I have removed 3 bolts from on top of the engine/bellhousing, as well as 3 from underneath the engine by the oil pan. I have removed 1 bolt on the backside of the engine underneath the exhaust manifold. I tried to lift the engine with a picker, and it seems like the engine is still attached to the tranny. My question is, is there any bolts that need to be removed from underneath the car, by the oil pan, or on the back side of the engine? I am going to try to pry the engine away from the bellhousing with a pry bar. Can anybody give me any help or suggestions? Any pic's?
