Replaced alternator, battery, headlights still do not work!

Recently, on a long car trip with my 85 V6 Firebird, both my headlights suddenly went out at the same time. Soon after pulling over, I realized my alternator was not working and that the battery had been leaking acid. I'm not sure what caused what to malfunction, but I now have a brand new alternator AND battery, but my headlights still will not go on. All interior lights work, parking lights, and signals, just not the headlights. Does anyone know if it is the switch or did I just burn the headlights out? Thanks for any advice!!!

Pull one of the bulbs and see if the filament is burnt out.
