Replaced radiator now engine cuts off

Replaced radiator after the old one began to leak, now no leak, but after 5 mins or so the engine idles high and low and shuts off. Would air in the coolant system cause this? What else to look for? Thanks.

Air does not cause that, recheck for something you intentionally or accidentally disconnected.
