I replaced both my FWB, and while I was in there I saw that my tie rod ends were in very bad condition (replaced them at the same time), but I think possible your squeaking could be from your control arm bushings. Mine were also worn, I replaced them (have to be done at a garage as they are pressed), all front end noise has gone away....Hi,
Hoping for some help.
I just replaced a wheel bearing that I thought was noisy. It is now more quiet, but there is still a squeak sound. What else could id be??????
Thanks for any help.
When does it squeak? When the suspension moves, as in hitting a bump or something like that?
I'd look at the sway bar mounts and linkage. Maybe try spraying a little WD-40 around those rubber bushings, see if the squeak goes away.
I don't think those parts are very expensive, it wouldn't hurt to just change 'em.
Hope that helped,
Dan
