My 2004 aztek has corroded hard lines up front. 2 of them started leaking over the weekend. I replaced the leaking sections with a patch kit. However I need to replace the entire lines.

1) has any one done this?
Also i am looking up the pre-bent hard lines and the drawings and data are sketchy. I believe the part number is 10340529 however I cant really tell by the drawings etc.

2) any help with part numbers would be great.

thank you!

I don't know about the Aztec, but on another GM car my brake & fuel lines rusted out prematurely. Worst spot near the front, like yours. The rest of the lines (3/8", 5/16", 1/4" fuel supply, return, vent + brake lines) still looked like new all down the driver's side underbody.

To replace the fuel & brake lines as an assembly on that car, the whole front & back stub frames would have to be unbolted. Dealer quoted $1200 (not incl. flex lines). A small shop billed half as much + used copper/nickel alloy lines (won't rust). Looked like a plumber's nightmare underneath, since they abandoned old lines in place to use for supports. But it was a good job - better than factory stock for sure.

Good luck this sounds like it will be a challenging project.
