Replacing window strip channel on windows

I just picked up a 1988 GT Turbo convertible that is in really good shape...however the weather stripping not so good....How do I go about replacing the front passenger and driver door window channel weather stripping...I did go online and the actual replacements from GM are really expensive...JC Whitney has aftermarket stripping, but I don’t know which type to get. The actual weather stripping around the door is in good shape...Thanks Ryan
