reset computer in 1999 sunfire

can any one tell me how to reset the computer in a 1999 sunfire? im trying to reset anti theft device but was wondering if i can reset the whole computer.

I hear that in some cars, if you start only the switch like 2 mins then turn off 2 mins and then start 2 mins then you start the car, the comp reset.
