resetting the odometer when filling up gas tank?

Hi everyone!

I am new to the Pontiac Forum -- I just bought a Torrent and I love it!

Simple question, I hope -- I HAVE read the manual, and I can't figure out how to reset the odometer, which I like to do each time I fill up the gas tank. you'd think I could figure something that is this simple out, but for the life of me I can't.....so how do I do it?

You do not want to reset the odometer, you want to reset the trip meter. Push the button by the odometer in once and that will show you the trip meter.Then hold the button in and it will reset to zero.

Thanks! Correct, I am using the wrong wording -- I want to reset the trip meter, which I ended up figuring out how to do on my way home last night. I had to press the "checkmark" button -- thanks much for helping me!
