Restoring a 1991 firebird?

I have a 1991 firebird theres some problems with it but there not major the engine has a leak of some sort its a v6 i really hate the 3.1 v6 engines they put in them also my brakes seem to stick and lock up so maby its leaking break fluid? 2nd is the body some rust and the hatch needs to be fixed and it needs new paint and rims 3rd is the interior which is just really the dash and i want to add some racing seats also the speakers need to be replaced Should I start with swaping the engine to a v8 getting some new paint n rims or making the interior nice? keep in mind I only have 500$ and what ever choice you think is best can you please give suggestions such as if u think the engine is best then can you give me what engine u suggest and how much it would be to swap thanks
I can do swaps myself so don't include swap labor thanks!

If all you have is $500.00 I would seriously consider selling it and finding another car in better condition .. you will not even be able to swap the engine for that kind of money in most cases ...
