57CC6C3C-C75A-4DE5-A293-BE2F2E72275C.jpegMy 1970 LeMans 4 door is at the body shop right now to get work done and a full fresh paint job. When I took it apart to prep it for body work the one rocker panel moulding has been beat up over the years and isn’t in good enough shape to put back on with a fresh paint job. In my readings a 1970 2 door and a 1970 4 door have the same wheel base of 116”. My question is will the rocker panel moldings be the same length. Because in all the catalogs I have they only list rocker panels for 2 door. Lol my brain hurts trying to find any info to answer my question. I hope someone in here can help.

Honestly tho how many 4 doors are left? Not many at all. In 1970 the 4 door only made up 6.4% of total production numbers of all Tempest and LeMans models.
Plus like I said the 2 door and 4 door have the same wheel base. Guess I’ll have to call a suppler and ask for over all length of their rocker panel moldings.

Have you tried frankspontiacparts.com for a used one?

I just opened the 1970 factory Pontiac Service Manual. Page 0-8 has body dimensions. The wheel base is Not the same, 112" versus 116".
