Bought a 94 Pontiac Sunbird that had its radio stolen and after that the a/c completely stopped working. I'm curious if anyone knows how much getting something like that would cost just going to a regular car shop that specializes in a/c repair. Any help would be appreciated cus its july and we are burning up! Oh btw the fan and a/c blows air its just very hot air from the engine.

you would need to have it checked ,because it could be something as simple as a blown fuse for it,there's no way of knowing what damage was done to it when they stole the radio out of it,id have a shop check it,they can tell you what it might take to get it working again, good luck.

I know it's hot, but have you considered just opening the window? You won't die, I promise! : ) Otherwise, I think under 130. dollars... or else I would say no thank you. good luck!

$100-180?

Depends on what's wrong.

If it is something simple like a bad switch, or just low on freon - it will probably be 125 - 300 dollars.

But if it needs a new compressor, it could cost in the neighborhood of $1000.
