HELP NEEDED BAD! First I want to say you procedures are very well done and simple.
My daughter has a 95 GP (pre OBD2) and I did head gasket and LIM gaskets. The motor started right up, but did have a very slight surge/roughness at idle, but with 178K miles, I assume it very good.
After a couple day of running fine, now it won't idle. It has a dead spot when accelerating, but will stay running if keep rpms above 2K. There does appear to be some misfire, but not sure about any backfire.
During the head job, I installed new plugs and wires. I also cleaned small amount of carbon out of throttle body and port going to EGR. The EGR valve was clean and I checked the 3 solenoid plungers and all were free and seated in off position. I clean IAC motor, but it wasn't really dirty. I also tested the MAP and voltage went up and down with me sucking on a straw. I have wiggled all wires on the ignition module and most all sensors and nothing changes
