Rpms go low when braking / car shuts off in reverse

So my car has been stalling out after a cold start in reverse. I have a long driveway and when I get to the end and brake it shuts off. I can start up and drive fine right after. Now I'm noticing when I brake the rpms dip really low. Last night almost down to nothing.

Any suggestions ?

Do you have a check engine light on? Have you done normal maintenance, filters, plugs etc.?
