i have a 89 sunbird and i get the scan value blm enabled no. What does that mean?

BLM= block learn mutliplier, read the link below and check the manual that came with your scanner

so what does blm enabled equals no mean? Open loop mode even thought the scan value says cllsd? Bad O2 sensor even though code not set?

have you disconnected both battery cables, held them together for a few seconds, reconnected the cables and repeated the scan attempt?

what would that do? We are replacing the o2 sensor.
