Searching for Sunfire's Speed Sensors

I am in search of the location of my speed sensors on my 2000 Sunfire se.

I think there is one on the transmission somewhere, I'm having a hard time finding it though.

More or less i'm really in search of trying to find out how the Sunfires read the vehicle speed.

Any knowledge would be helpful.

is it an auto or manual tranny? look for a plug sticking out of tranny facing towards the front of car and upwards. It'll have a couple wires coming out of the plug that will go into the electrical wiring harness. (big black, wire filled, plastic hose)
