I am selling my 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT because the car is having issues and parts can’t be replaced because they’re no longer made and also costing much more than the cars value. The issues it currently has is: leaking tail lights, faulty oil sensor, minor dash clicking noise, non-consistent squeaks, oil leak, climate control/ vent issues, damaged and leaking a/c hoses, passenger window track and regulator problems. I love this car so much, it’s fun to drive and the engine still runs good it’s just having no air conditioning, not being able to roll the window down and having to put money into a car that’s not even worth that much doesn’t seem right to me. I got this car from my grandmother who passed away in 2018, and she bought it new in November 1996. The current mileage on the car is 104,600 miles and I was offered between $30-$160 from multiple dealerships and parts stores. Would it be worth trying to sell the car myself (ex. Craigslist) ? Or just sell it to a dealer?
