Service failed to dectect problem

Hello all,

Maybe someone can help me here, I recently took my 07 torrent in for check engine light service. My EGR valve needs to be replace seems that the pindle is stuck.

But I also wanted to know why the service stable trac and service traction control light was coming on. Well I was told that there was nothing wrong with the trac control because they found nothing wrong or no codes.

Well when I drove it home both warnings came back on and I took it to have codes pulled and it read c0561 can you please tell me what this is before i take it back to the shop for another $110. charge just to diagnosis it.

Oh forgot I have 105,916 miles on her, new plugs and wires.

That code indicates that the traction control and abs were disabled because of another code being thrown. Go back to whoever took care of the lights for those systems and point out they did not clear the code.

there could be two promblem your senser may be gone that happem to me one time or it could be your wheelbearing is gone do u hear a rough roar in your torrent some time the abs will come on if one of those promblem happens the wheelbearing and senser is all together i hope that help you

Update,

So far after cleaning the EGR valve, no more check engine light and the trac control came on one time.

I will see what happens as the wife drives her normal route tomorrow.

I still may check wheel bearings to see if they need replacement.

P0405 would be the code that would be present with a faulty EGR valve.
