Hello, i have a 2000 grand am se 4dr 4cyl auto,the ses light is on but no codes come up on my scanner.the abs light and trak control light, are also on i hit trak button nothing happens,my scanner picked code for left front wheel sensor short but nothing else.Sorry to throw out so many problems out on first post but gotta keep the little women happy. The wheel speed sensors are part of the hub.
If the cruise still works, chances are it's just one sensor gone. But be sure to check your wiring to the sensors anyway.
You should still have regular braking, i.e. no abs. I drove for a year without my abs and traction control working since I still had cruise. But I grew up on vehicles without abs so it was no big deal to me. Once the second front sensor went, then I replaced both sides at once.
