Hey folks.
Have a 2003 Grand Am with the 3.4L, and have been working on diagnosing a problem. As part of the problem, a mechanic said the 3 and 6 spark plug wires were reversed. I don't understand how this is possible since 3 and 6 are on a shared coil and other than length convenience, they shouldn't be possible to get backwards. Just puzzled about why this would impact anything or be a cause of a misfire code on cylinder 3 (which seems to have been resolved with an emissions module replacement, but mostly curious on the plug order).
Can anyone shed any light on this?
