Shifters Can’t Live With Them, Can’t Live Without Them

I’m working with a Floor Shift 1972 Lemans 350 (soon to be 400) with a TH350 Transmission. I might change the tranny to a 200R4 but for this discussion lets stick to the TH350. I want to Cool Up the shifter and keep the console. I would like to install a Hurst Dual Gate. So the question is what are my best options?
Which shifters will work without modification(s)?
Which shifters will work with modification(s)?
Which will work without the console?
1967 or 1968 A body Hurst Dual Gate (Straight Stick)
F body Hurst Dual Gate
Oldsmobile Hurst Dual Gate (Angled Stick)
Hurst V Matic 3
Hurst Pro Matic 2
Pontiac Stock Slap Stick
This last thought will most likely have me missing the 2019 Hot Rod Power Tour but how difficult is a Manual Conversion? (4 Speed, 5 Speed or 6 Speed)
I thank you in advance for any and all help and input.

To answer your last question first contact Silver Sport Transmissions for 5/6 speed conversions.
As far as the automatic shifters I cannt see any of them just dropping in without modifications of some sort. Even the 68 factory dual gate console had a different cutout than the 72 console.
Check the link in the next post.
