So got an 05 sunfire, crank no start

Pre existing bad shift solenoids and a engine control module
Before no start happened took apart cluster popped out the bulbs for trans issue and check engine light to sell to carmax

After a couple months it got started engine running turned off went inside 30minutes drained battery from some light being on

Jumped battery crank no start

To rule out battery issue used another battery… still no start crank

made sure nothing clogging for air ,no spark issues haven’t tested fuel but person cranking while I watched for spark could smell fuel.

As of tonight I got a scanner tool to what’s going on scanner would not turn on with a good battery would work in my other car

I have no clue what’s going on at all any help? I know probably looking at a new vehicle but it would be nice if we don’t have to say goodbye to a car that’s could very well have a crusher in its future

Did you check for a blown fuse powering the OBD port?
Have you done a fuel pressure test?
Did you pull the plugs and check if they are fouled?
Did you do a compression test?
